I distributori seguono su <strong>14 febbraio 2027<\/strong>, dopo il quale gli onicotecnici in Gran Bretagna non potranno pi\u00f9 acquistare nuove scorte contenenti l'ingrediente, anche se i prodotti gi\u00e0 in possesso potranno essere utilizzati.<\/p><h2 id=\"what-is-tpo\">Che cos'\u00e8 il TPO e perch\u00e9 \u00e8 stato vietato?<\/h2><p>L'ossido di trimetilbenzoile difenilfosfina (TPO) \u00e8 un fotoiniziatore che indurisce lo smalto in gel sotto lampade UV e LED. Nel 2023 la Commissione europea l'ha classificato come sostanza di categoria 1B CMR, presumibilmente riprotossica sulla base di studi sugli animali. Il divieto dell'UE \u00e8 entrato in vigore il 1\u00b0 settembre 2025; il Regno Unito, che ora gestisce il proprio quadro normativo dopo la Brexit, ha fissato una propria scadenza scaglionata.<\/p><p>La Food and Drug Administration statunitense non ha emesso un divieto, anche se alcuni marchi americani stanno volontariamente riformulando per mantenere un'unica linea di prodotti globali.<\/p><h2 id=\"brands\">Risposte del marchio<\/h2><p>GelBottle Inc ha dichiarato che l'intera gamma europea \u00e8 gi\u00e0 priva di TPO 100% e che le gamme del Regno Unito e degli Stati Uniti sono in dirittura d'arrivo per la transizione completa prima della scadenza del settembre 2026. Anche Glossify ha confermato la riformulazione attiva. Chemistry World ha riferito che, dopo l'annuncio dell'UE del maggio 2024, i marchi hanno avuto un tempo sufficiente per sviluppare alternative.<\/p><p>I principali fotoiniziatori sostitutivi sono il TPO-L (etil-trimetilbenzoil-fenilfosfinato) e il BAPO (ossido di bisacilfosfina), che superano entrambi le attuali valutazioni di sicurezza dell'UE e del Regno Unito.<\/p><h2 id=\"salons\">Cosa devono fare ora i proprietari dei saloni<\/h2><p>BABTAC raccomanda un'immediata verifica dell'inventario: controllare ogni etichetta di prodotto per verificare la presenza di \u201cTrimethylbenzoyl Diphenylphosphine Oxide\u201d nell'elenco INCI.
