This manicure uses a purple cat’s eye as the base, with metallic lines, fillers, a topcoat, and diamond embellishments to create an exquisite and gorgeous manicure effect. Here are the detailed steps:
Step 1: Cat-Eye Primer
Take purple cat-eye gel polish (in this tutorial, I used CHROMÉCLAIR Hema Free Gel Polish No. 430. The color is luxurious and textured, flows well, and evenly coats evenly, even for beginners. It’s also non-toxic and healthy). Apply evenly to the nail surface. This step lays the foundation for the unique cat-eye effect later on.
After applying the gel polish, place a magnet close to the nail and slowly move the magnet to arrange the magnetic powder in the gel polish to form a full-gloss effect, giving the nail surface a cat-eye-like glossy texture.
Then put the nails in the nail lamp to dry and fix the base color and cat-eye effect.
Step 2: Draw Lines with Silver Metallic Glue
Use silver metallic glue and use a fine brush to draw two short lines on your nails. Then, follow a “323” pattern (three short lines, two longer lines, and three short lines). Adjust the line length and spacing based on the size of your nails.
These lines are then connected to form a grid-like or patterned structure. Once the painting is complete, place it under the nail lamp again to dry and allow the metallic glue lines to set.
Step 3: Fill with Bronze Platinum Glue
Use a fine brush to fill in the gaps created by the silver metallic glue lines with light bronze platinum glue, adding depth and richness to the pattern on the nail surface. Once filled, place the nail under a nail lamp to dry and set the filled areas.
Step 4: No-Wash Topcoat and Post-Construction
First, apply a thin layer of no-wash topcoat to the entire nail surface. This serves as a preliminary protection for the existing gel polish and adds gloss. Next, apply an appropriate amount of no-wash topcoat and post-construction. Post-construction will smooth the nail surface and increase the durability of the gel polish. After application, dry under a nail lamp.
Step 5: Diamond Embellishment
After the topcoat has dried, apply diamond embellishments to the desired locations on both sides of the nail. You can choose the size and shape of the diamonds based on your preference. Once the diamonds are applied, the manicure is complete.
