Romantic Planet Nail Art Tutorial is here!

Today I will teach you how to make a “Happy Planet” manicure with a sense of cosmic romance. You don’t need complicated tools. You can easily get the same style by following these steps. Even beginners can get started~

1. Primer and layer colors to create an interstellar base color

First, apply a layer of black nail polish (I use CHROMÉCLAIR No. 3) evenly on the nail surface. After drying, use it as the base of the “cosmic night sky”; then apply a layer of clear blue cat’s eye gel to make the black base color reveal a deep blue tone, as if there is a mysterious galaxy hidden in the night, laying a smart foreshadowing for the subsequent “planet” shape.

2. Put the magnets in place and prepare for the magic shaping

Take two square magnets and make sure they can attract each other firmly (this is the key to making a three-dimensional cat-eye effect), then fix one of them on the table or hold it firmly with your hand to avoid shaking during operation and affecting the shape.

3. Initial absorption of broad light, test the magnet’s suction

Pick up another magnet and gently move it parallel to the nail surface, first absorb a smooth broad light, and at the same time confirm the attraction of the two magnets again – only when the suction is sufficient can the subsequent “planetary aperture” be clearer and more three-dimensional.

4. Get close to the magnet and blend the planetary halo

Carefully move the fixed magnet to the back of the nail root and slowly move it towards the nail surface (be careful not to touch the rubber surface). As the distance shortens, a round and full blue halo will gradually appear on the nail surface, like the outline of a planet suspended in the night sky, hazy and smart.

5. Collaborative lighting to freeze the aperture shape

You can ask someone around you to help you in this step~ Keep the magnet in place and let the other person use the nail lamp to illuminate the nail surface for 30-60 seconds to firmly solidify the aperture shape. After drying, you can see a clear and three-dimensional “planet” prototype. Do you feel it already?

7. Add finishing touches and apply a sealant to fix the color

When the nail surface is half dry, take white nail polish and gently draw a flowing arc in the middle of the “planet”, like a meteor across the night sky, adding a touch of agility to the picture; finally, apply a layer of glossy sealant on the whole, which can protect the pattern after drying, and make the “planet” have a smooth luster, as if it is a reflective star.

Finally, I would like to recommend CHROMÉCLAIR’s nail polish product: unlike traditional nail polish, the formula abandons HEMA (2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate CAS 868-77-9) and TPO (Photoinitiator TPO CAS 75980-60-8). By introducing safer and more environmentally friendly ingredients, every bottle of CHROMÉCLAIR nail polish meets strict EU standards, ensuring that every consumer’s experience is both safe and secure.
