How to Do the Autumn Osmanthus Manicure at Home?

Today I’m sharing the super popular “Autumn Golden Osmanthus” nail design—featuring a mirror-like shimmer effect paired with blooming golden osmanthus. It’s elegant, versatile, and absolutely stunning. Give it a try if you love it!

Creating the Cat Eye Base Color

First, apply a thick layer of translucent cat eye gel polish to the nail surface (I used CHROMÉCLAIR’s Hema Free Gel Polish CE-05—it’s color-transparent, highly fluid, non-toxic, and eco-friendly).

Next, use a magnet to draw out the side light on both sides of the nail.

Next, use the edge of the magnet to draw circles on the nail surface, creating a glass bead-like effect. Then cure the nails under a UV lamp. This step imparts a unique cat’s eye texture to the base color, enhancing the visual impact for subsequent nail designs.

Matte Sealer and Osmanthus Painting

After the base color has cured, apply a velvet matte sealer.

Next, take some no-rinse styling gel and paint osmanthus flowers on the nail surface using the “one flower with four petals gathered into a cluster” technique. Here, you can paint two slightly larger osmanthus flowers.

Add some finely chopped petals and leaves as accents to enhance the floral ambiance, lending the osmanthus pattern greater realism and dimensionality.

Application of Magic Mirror Powder and Dust Removal

After curing the drawn osmanthus pattern under the lamp, apply champagne gold Magic Mirror Powder to the design, imparting a metallic sheen to the osmanthus and other motifs.

Afterwards, carefully sweep away any excess Magic Mirror powder from the nail surface using a clean sponge applicator. This will ensure the nail surface remains clean, free from any residual dust that could affect its appearance.

Seal and Strengthen

Finally, apply a strengthening top coat to the nails and cure under the lamp once more. Your autumn osmanthus magic mirror pink manicure is now complete.
