This time, we will be creating a “Diamond Heart” nail art design. From the base color to the diamond decorations, each layer builds on the metallic style and sophistication, ultimately creating a nail art design that is both visually striking and exquisitely luxurious. Let’s take a look!
Step 1: Prepare the nail tips and base color
First, apply black gel polish as a base coat. The black base color not only makes the subsequent colors more intense, but also sets the tone for a metallic, luxurious look. Wait for the base color to dry and cure.
Step 2: Apply cat’s eye gel polish
Take a highly saturated cat’s eye gel polish(I used CHROMÉCLAIR’s Hema Free Gel Polish SE-10, which has a luxurious color and texture, long-lasting color, and is non-toxic and healthy) and apply it evenly over the black base color. The rose red color itself is vibrant and eye-catching, and when paired with the cat’s eye effect, it creates a delicate sense of light and shadow refraction.
After applying the polish, use a cat’s eye magnet to create a three-dimensional, glass bead-like shine, giving the nail surface a sense of depth and luster.
Step 3: Heart-shaped painting and stamp pattern
Use a paint pen to draw the outline of a heart on the nail surface, then fill in the heart area with paint glue of the same color (or a matching color). Adjust the shape of the heart during the process to make the edges smooth and natural.
Next, take the transparent patting glue and use it with the pattern steel plate and transfer stamp.
Dip the stamp into the elastic glue, then take the image from the stamp template and stamp it precisely onto the heart-shaped area.
After printing, use a cleaning tool to wipe off any excess glue from the edges of the pattern so that the pattern and the heart connect neatly.
Step 4: Outline the contours with Magic Mirror Powder and Platinum Gel
Rub silver Magic Mirror Powder onto the stamp pattern area. The Magic Mirror Powder will give the pattern a metallic texture, making the “embroidery” look even more realistic.
Next, take the silver platinum glue and use a fine brush to trace along the outer contour of the heart, enhancing its three-dimensionality and refinement, as if you were embellishing the heart with a metal border.
Step 5: Diamond and steel ball decoration
– First, attach the “transparent marquise” diamond to the center of the heart (or visual focal point). The shape of the marquise diamond simulates the lively sharp corners of an “eye.”
– Next, stick a circle of pointed-bottom rhinestones around the heart. The dense arrangement of pointed-bottom rhinestones doubles the luxurious feel, and the effect is even more striking when light is refracted.
– Then take the steel balls and fill them along the gap between the drill decoration and the nail surface to make the overall layers fuller and the transition more natural.
– Finally, add small pearls as accents and use a top coat to secure all decorations, ensuring a uniform shine across the entire nail surface.
