Hello nail lovers! The cloisonné enamel style is trending right now in the nail art world. Today we are going to create a beautiful enamel cloisonné manicure with a Chinese embroidery style. Combining traditional aesthetics with nail art creativity, you can easily achieve a unique look on your fingertips.
Step 1: Create a cat-eye base on your fingertips
First, apply a relatively transparent nude cat-eye gel to your fingertips to create a cat-eye effect (I used CHROMÉCLAIR’s HEMA-free Gel Polish products No. 805, a beautiful, non-toxic, and healthy color!) Use a magnetic tool to create a rounded, glossy effect, similar to glass beads.
Step 2: Positioning and Drawing the Side Petals
I’ll demonstrate this using white first: When drawing the side petals, the first step is to determine three points to plan the petal layout. The first stroke should be slightly longer, and each stroke should be drawn using a “point-and-lift” technique (lightly tap the tip of the brush, then gently pull and lift to create a natural and flowing line). Note that the second and third strokes should be about half the length of the first. This will create more dynamic layering and a form that better reflects the aesthetic of traditional Chinese painting.
Step 3: Cat’s Eye Petal Painting & Shaping
During the actual petal painting phase, use the properties of cat’s eye glue to outline the petals. After each petal, use a magnet to apply cat’s eye polish to create a delicate sheen. Also, create pointed tips at the ends of the petals to simulate the shape of real petals, adding a more vivid touch to the manicure.
Step 4: Shape the petals, leaves, and center
Use green cat’s eye gel to create the petals and leaves. Use light brushstrokes to outline the leaf shape. You can also use a magnet to enhance the sheen.
The flower center of Chinese-style manicure emphasizes a sense of clarity. Here, you must use glass accessories or glass glue to create it. The sense of transparency is instantly maximized, making the flower center a visual highlight.
Step 5: Prepare the matte outline and glue
Use the nail polish and the full-nail matte outline brush, applying glue evenly (to ensure smooth flow and no clogging during subsequent operations). Prepare the magic mirror powder modeling glue and apply a generous amount of glue to the tip of the brush to prepare for the outlines.
Step 6: Fine Line Drawing Techniques
Hold the brush upright and use the tip of the brush to precisely outline the petals, leaves, and other elements. Make sure the lines are thin and delicate. This will help the subsequent “salon rub” (similar to gently rubbing the color) after applying the Magic Mirror Powder, resulting in a more realistic filigree effect.
Step 7: Magic Mirror Powder and Topcoat
Dip a sponge brush into the Magic Mirror Powder and evenly rub it onto the outlined lines. Remove any excess powder with a brush.
Evenly spaced traditional Chinese-style petals create a more aesthetically pleasing effect. After applying the Magic Mirror Powder, apply a full-nail topcoat for reinforcement. Next, apply a hard topcoat, which enhances the icy sheer effect and adds to the overall sense of transparency. Using a “one stroke, one lighting” technique, meticulously craft each line and color block, creating a delicate texture resembling small embroidery.
Step 8: Finishing Details and the Finished Product
Finally, apply the pearl embellishments, leaving some breathing space on the nail surface (to avoid overcrowding). Your enamel manicure, imbued with the charm of traditional Chinese culture, is complete!
Finally, I recommend CHROMÉCLAIR’s HEMA-free Gel Polish products: focus on safety, low irritation, environmental protection, no harmful ingredients, reduce the risk of allergies ( HEMA-free & TPO-free), a variety of colors, cater to mainstream aesthetics, designed for sensitive skin users, care for healthy nails, and ensure that every consumer’s experience is safe and secure.
