Halloween Nail Art Tutorial: Cyber Ghost

Fancy a Halloween manicure but worried it might be too over-the-top? This sweet and delicate cyber-ghost design is an absolute must! Adorably edgy with a touch of cyberpunk flair, it’s utterly girly and perfect for shorter nails too~

Step 1: Create a translucent cat-eye base

First, apply a thin layer of cat-eye gel polish as a base coat. (I used CHROMÉCLAIR’s Hema Free Gel Polish ce-05, which is both translucent and finely textured.)

After applying a thin coat of nail polish, use the spherical magnet to trace circles around the nail surface. This effortlessly creates a glass bead effect with a cat’s eye finish – even those with unsteady hands can manage it.

Step 2: Apply Dreamy Polarised Finish

Next, use the skirt-patterned nail polish as a powder-adhesive top coat. After application, take the chrome powder from the Nail Magic Mirror. Dip a nail-specific sponge pad into the powder and gently pat it onto the nail surface. The peachy-pink hue with blue polarised shimmer instantly transforms the manicure into something dreamy and sophisticated. Moreover, powder applied this way adheres more firmly and shines brighter.

You could also add a touch of colour with rose-pink patties to enrich the layered effect.

Step 3: Add the ghost’s adorable details

Use a nail art dotting pen to draw the ghost’s eyes and blush.

Dip the retractable pen in the hard sealing compound, then draw the ghost’s skirt.

Draw one line, light one lamp; thus the three-dimensional form becomes more refined.

Once all designs are complete, apply a standard top coat to ensure your manicure lasts longer.

Step 4: Pair with full-hand designs

Full-hand designs featuring spiderwebs, mummies and other elements are sweet and adorable, capturing both the Halloween spirit and a girlish charm. They pair perfectly with short, square-rounded nails.
