A touch of fresh green brings a minty coolness to summer. Create a manicure to please yourself! Today, letโs explore the essence of the โGreen Bamboo Manicure Tutorialโ and learn how to create a vibrant and refreshing summer manicure.

Step 1: Choose a base color, choose mint green
To achieve a refreshing summer vibe, choosing a base color is crucial. I recommend choosing a clear green with a subtle pearlescent sheen to create a translucent, natural look. (In this tutorial, I used CHROMรCLAIR Hema-Free Gel Polish No. 809; itโs clear, easy to blend, and non-toxic!)

Apply the paint to half of your nail. Donโt rush; once youโve evenly applied the paint, use a sweeping brush to gently create a gradient effect. Next, use the catโs eye magnet: first draw it sideways to create a โbroad lightโ effect, then push it in the center to create a โglass beadโ texture. The result is a light, clear green, resembling newly emerged bamboo shoots, setting the stage for the subsequent โgreen bambooโ element and making the green more vibrant.

Step 2: Matte Topcoat for a Matte Texture
After the cat-eye basecoat is completely dry, apply a non-stick matte topcoat. This topcoat not only creates a luxurious matte finish but also provides a non-slip surface for subsequent painting, allowing for better adhesion of paint glue and magic mirror powder.

Step 3: Draw a butterfly and apply Magic Mirror Powder for a dynamic effect
Use โNo-Wash White Paint Glueโ to draw a butterfly: Dip the tip of your brush into the glue and lightly outline the butterfly on the nail. Draw the wings lightly, imagining the butterfly perched on a bamboo leaf.

After painting the butterfly, take the โgreen magic mirror powderโ to rub the butterfly with powder: use your fingertips or cotton swab to gently press and wipe, so that the magic mirror powder sticks firmly to the painting glue, and the butterfly will instantly turn into a gradient green.

Step 4: Paint the bamboo, capturing the poetic beauty of the bamboo forest
Use modeling glue to paint the bamboo. This glue is non-flowing, making it ideal for creating three-dimensional or intricate designs. Dip the tip of your brush into the glue and slowly outline the bamboo branches on your nails, then add the details of the leaves. Because the glue doesnโt flow, you can paint the entire bamboo shape in one go without worrying about lines collapsing. After painting the bamboo, apply โLight Champagne Magic Mirror Powderโ to give the branches and leaves a soft sheen.

Step 5: Add details and reinforce the sealant
Use white painting glue to randomly add a few small leaves to simulate the scattered branches of a bamboo forest.

Then take โNo. 809 Catโs Eye Glueโ and paint it on the butterfly. The magnetic strip absorbs the light to make the butterflyโs color richer and more layered. Finally, use โwhite drawing glueโ to outline the butterfly. The butterfly instantly has a โskeletal feelโ and is extremely agile!

After all the patterns are dry, apply a layer of reinforcing sealant and finally shine the light to complete it.

Follow this tutorial to create a refreshing bamboo manicure. Whether paired with light-colored clothing or a floral dress, it can instantly enhance the overall look and make you stand out in the hot summer. Give it a try!
